You'll have to believe me when I tell you that I built this well ahead of the appearance of the official Lego version of Jango Fett's Slave 1, which is much larger than their version of Boba Fett's Slave 1. It seems we had a lot of the same ideas, especially with regards to hidden weaponry. Still, I think Lego missed a trick by not using the large and small UFO parts, which blend together to create an almost identical profile to the original.

Apart from having hidden weapons all over the place, this model also includes a rather old-fashioned battery pack and a few doo-dads that we picked up in yet another dusty box at a boot sale. Incorporated into the central body (but easily detachable for battery replacement) is a unit that allows you to light up a laser and make an impressive 'zap' or 'woowoowoowoo' sound. Cheap thrills at a reasonable price, basically.
